Hogan's Heroes
Hogan's Heroes is an American sitcom that aired on the CBS network for 168 episodes between September 17, 1965 and July 4, 1971. During World War II, the story took place in a German prisoner-of-war camp. Bob Crane portrayed Colonel Robert E. Hogan, who oversaw an international team of Allied POWs and ran a Special Operations unit from the camp. Werner Klemperer portrayed Colonel Wilhelm Klink, the camp's commandant, and John Banner portrayed the incompetent guard sergeant, Hans Schultz. Throughout its six-season run, the series was a popular one. In2013, creators Bernard Fein through his estate and Albert S. Ruddy secured the sequel and other independent rights to Hogan's Heroes from Mark Cuban via arbitration, and a film based on the show is in the works.
