Alcatraz

Alcatraz is a American television series created by Elizabeth Sarnoff, Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt, and produced by J. J. Abrams and Bad Robot Productions. The show premiered on Fox as a mid-season replacement, on January 16, 2012. The show focuses upon the Alcatraz prison, and this was closed down in 1963 as a result of unsafe conditions because of its prisoners and guards. The show's premise is both the prisoners and also have reappeared in modernday san francisco bay area, where a government bureau is tracking down them and the guards disappeared in 1963. The show starred Sam Neill, Jorge Garcia, Sarah Jones and Parminder Nagra. The show was cancelled on May 9, 2012.
